Paul Lewis (English)

Paul Lewis is special projects editor with The Guardian. Paul Lewis – not to be confused with his namesake and BBC-colleague – was named best reporter of the year at the British Press Awards 2010. He was also awarded the Best Use of Citizen Journalism prize at the Newspaper Awards 2010. A year before, he won the Bevins Prize for his extraordinary achievements in the field of investigative journalism.
Paul Lewis has won various other accolades for investigations into the radical Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat, police brutality, the surveillance state and illegal immigration.
In 2005, he was a Henry Fellow at Harvard University, writing about criminal law suits against former heads of state. In 2004, he graduated in political and social science at Cambridge University.
In the past, Lewis worked for the Washington Post als Stern Fellow.
