For two days Brussels housed hundreds of investigative journalists that attended the European Investigative Journalism Conference 2008, organised by the VVOJ. The conference offered a packed programme of panel sessions, management tracks and computer classes. De eerste regiomiddag van 2026 gaf een inkijk in een aantal relevante thema’s voor regionale en lokale journalistiek. Zo was er een vooruitblik op de gemeenteraadsverkiezingen in maart; ging het over onderzoeksjournalistiek met impact; over nieuws voor jongeren en subsidies voor journalistieke verhalen over Leiden en omgeving.
